    While sandbathing in the sun, this colorful bee- eater caught a huge flying insect. This is enough for lunch! Insects are bee- eater’s natural prey, even though it might sound a little disgusting. Sand bathing involves rolling around in dust or sand. This keeps the bird’s feathers healthy and also removes harmful parasites.
